PLEASE NOTE HOME VISITS WILL BE DETERMINED BY A GP DURING THIS PANDEMIC.

Home Visits

Doctor's bag

Home visits are reserved for patients who are fully housebound.  There are numerous other means of contact with the doctors including the open surgery, pre-booked appointments and telephone consultations.

We understand that the practice covers a large area, and that transport can be an issue, but this is not a reason in itself for a home visit.  Travelling time takes the GP away from other clinical duties and therefore has to be carefully considered.

To arrange a home visit please contact the practice before 10.00 a.m. so that housecalls can be organised in an efficient manner.  Reception staff have been trained to ask about and explore your symptoms to help with prioritisation.
